2SEA is pleased to announce that the Pambula and District Community Development Ltd AKA The Bendigo Bank in Pambula is our Radio Staton’s Prime Sponsor and Community Partner as of February 2020.
Bendigo Bank Chairman Colin Dunne was pleased to present a cheque for $10,000 to 2SEA’s vice-president Graeme Wykes and treasurer Trish Jones on Tuesday.
The Bendigo Bank and 2SEA FM have entered a five year Community Partnership arrangement that will see the Bendigo Bank become the Station’s Prime Corporate Sponsor up until the end of 2025.
The agreement was reached due to the radio station needing to replace a faulty signal transmitter on Mt. Bimmil. The Committee of Bendigo Bank was agreeable to our request and in the very near future 2SEA is hopeful of providing a stronger and clearer radio signal to the station’s listeners across the southern half of the Bega Valley Shire.
2SEA is very proud to be associated with a Community Bank that does so much in supporting all the community’s in the South East area. The arrangement is a perfect fit for both partners, and with the exciting new initiatives that 2SEA is planning for 2020 they both will continue to grow together.
Among the exciting projects for 2020 is the plan to move into the redeveloped Australasia building in the Eden CBD later this year, courtesy of Eden’s own Neil Rankin. 2SEA is currently installing a streaming service to broadcast over the internet to service those listener’s who have receive below standard reception, or like to listen on the move.
Other initiatives the station is exploring is the refurbishment of a retr0-caravan as an Outside Broadcast Unit, and and an Outside Broadcast Set-Up to broadcast live from Markets, Festival and sporting events right across the Shire.
The future is indeed bright for 2SEA, and the partnership with Bendigo Bank is another positive step forward as 2SEA as it celebrates it’s 20th anniversary on air in 2020.
