In November last year, Bill Shorten announced he wouldn’t contest the seat of Maribyrnong in 2025. Today, Shorten retires from politics after an almost two-decade-long career in parliament.
Shorten was sworn in as the Minister for the NDIS by Prime Minister Anthony Albanese, becoming a strong voice in government for Australians with a disability.
