Calls for funding boost to support older Australians with digital in-home care

Technology already plays a huge role in society, however a number of experts are pushing to insert technology into the lives of older Australians to help with independence and quality of life.

Smart phones, watches and rings can be used by healthcare professionals to monitor the wellbeing of people from their homes instead of needing to be at an aged care facility or hospital.

Healthy at Home is a consortium between universities, corporations and other organisations to explore the integration of technology in everyday life.
