Capital Gains Tax, Negative Gearing on the table – Albanese

As leaks of reports that Treasury was looking at changes to the Capital Gains Tax and Negative gearing grew, Prime Minister Anthony Albanese refused to rule out any changes in a policy backflip where he said that he would be looking at all options.   Treasurer Jim Chalmers tried to turn the narrative onto the Opposition and the Greens for blocking the Governments housing reforms in the Senate, saying this was causing a bigger problem for housing.
