Farm in Canada expanding Indigenous knowledge

Over the last decade, Indigenous knowledge has become a an educational focus for non-Indigenous people to understand more about culture, land, and connections. Countries like Australia and Canada are making it happen by creating spaces where everyone’s welcome and learn more about Indigenous culture.

In Canada’s capital, Ottawa, an Indigenous experience farm called Madahoki, is breeding native horses that are linked to Indigenous culture through stories. The farm’s programs extend appreciation for the Canadian government’s support.
