Western Australians go the polls this weekend with WA Labor hoping the popularity of former premier Mark McGowan will spill over to the new leader Roger Cook who will be aiming for a rare third-term election win for a WA Labor government. The election provides an opportunity for the Liberal Party to claw back support after being annihilated at the 2021 election.
