The war in the middle east has ratcheted up another level after Iran has entered directly by a sustained missile attack on Israel overnight. The “iron dome” defences mitigated against widespread loss of life in Israel, but they have said they will respond which will be another escalation in the conflict.
There will be more activity in southern Lebanon against Hezbollah as Israel attempts to shore up northern defences and how far Israel will go in sending in strikes to Iran could give some indication of the course of this conflict.
