A Sunshine Coast mental health clinic has reported a 42% increase in guests presenting with PTSD and C-PTSD over the last 12 months.
According to the Australian Institute of Health and Welfare, 75% of Australian adults will experience an event that causes psychological trauma within their lifetime.
With World Mental Health Day just a few days away, The Wire’s Mary-Kate Hannagan spoke with Georgia Ray, Psychologist and Clinical Lead at Palladium Private, to learn more about PTSD and effective treatments for the disorder.
