Stormy weather increases thunderstorm asthma risk

As stormy weather sweeps across Australia, the risk of thunderstorm asthma is once again on the rise.New research is helping to identify those most at risk, allowing for earlier treatment and better prevention.

I spoke with Dr Rachel Tham from the University of Melbourne’s Department of Medicine, who is leading efforts to better understand and manage this growing health concern.
