Many in the Sydney Thai community are concerned over increasing thefts and violence in Sydney’s Thai Town in inner Haymarket.
It is unclear as to whether the cause is opportunistic or whether Thai people and businesses are being targeted.
The Thai community leaders have called for preventative action to be taken by Sydney City Police and the City of Sydney.
Police recommend any problems or incidents to be reported to police at the Day St Police Station or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000
